Paranoia/Hostility Cycle
War is an extreme example of this cycle. In warthis cycle escalates as people are killed and hostility builds toward the enemy who killedthem. Frequently government propaganda creates paranoia of the people the governmentwants to conquer so that citizens will be hostile enough to support government policiesagainst those people.
