John Kerry (New York Post 3/1/04) in October of 2002 told an Arab American Institute conference in Dearborn, Michigan that the Israeli fence was "provocative" and that:
We do not need another barrier to peace.
At a CBS debate on 2/29/04 just before he met with Jewish leaders he said it's:
a fence necessary to the security of Israel until they have a partner to be able to negotiate.
Kerry during his campaign has been critical of the Patriot Act even though he voted for the law.
